Many filmmakers face unexpected production issues with their projects with little or no experience in how things are supposed to be.

It helps to seek the advice of experts experienced in the task at hand to help. Whether seeking a consulting producer for just these issues or an expert seminar for an overview or reminder before diving in yourself, britida has experience and contacts in nearly every aspect of filmmaking to help things seem less daunting.

pre-production

Invariably, the most amount of time spent on a good film is spent in pre-production.

Spending your time and energy in pre-production when the financial strains and time pressures are so much less demanding will ensure that you are prepared for the intense decision making and unexpected events that occur when a couple hundred people and lots of money are waiting on you.

Whether it’s script development, casting, scouting and securing locations, budgeting, scheduling and all the rest, britida has the resources available to set the groundwork for the best chance of a successful, rewarding production.

Breaking down the script, setting the scheduling and budgeting, lining up the resources and all the other aspects that go into a well prepared production are the keys to a smooth flowing production ahead.

production

The right production gear, with a well trained crew with the proper knowledge of how to use it, is as essential as the right cast, director and everything else to a successful production.

Production is where teams of specialized professions must synchronize efforts and abilities in a high pressure atmosphere in order to wrest creative substance out of chaos.

britida delivers the highest quality of contributions within the intensity, pressure and rapidly evolving nature of the days of production. Producing, directing, camera, lighting, sound and the myriad of other essential departments are well within the services britida can render well.

If you need a full crew or just key personnel, britida is primed to deliver a stellar production experience.

post-production

Proper respect for what beneficial post-production services can add to a film is key to finding the very best within a film, and is essential to delivering the best a film can be. Understanding and planning for the benefits of good post-sound, color grading and film finishing elements will separate the best filmmakers from the also-rans.

britida has decades of experience in the areas of post-production. We’ve honed the skillsets necessary to give the project the brightest shine as it is readied to reach its audience. We even excel at post areas that are rarities to find, like dialog editing, to make sure that every possible angle of improving your project are available as options.

the “long tail”

What to do after “film lock” is often a quandary for filmmakers. Having a strategy of how to take your finished film on its journey to find its audience, knowing what options are available and how your specific film can best exploit those options to find its unique path takes up-to-date knowledge, awareness and resources.

britida has the know how to help set that path with the best strategies that are the right choices for your film’s future. That may include film festivals strategies, “dog and pony” showings, finding the right distribution that “gets” your project or taking it on your own so you can control your film’s destiny and find its true audience. Or some combination of all of the above. The right plan chosen for the right reasons is key. We can help with all of that.
